LeBron James has hailed Stephen Curry's performances this season and stressed that the Golden State Warriors point guard should be awarded the NBA's regular season MVP prize.
In the Warriors' last game of the regular season, Curry scored 46 points to become the top scorer of the 2020/21 regular season.
Curry also became the second oldest player to achieve that feat after Michael Jordan, who was the league's top scorer in the 1997/98 campaign at the age of 35.
"We're playing, in my mind, the MVP of this year in Steph," said LeBron ahead of the play-in game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Warriors.
Meanwhile, Curry became the fourth player to have ever won the NBA title, the MVP award and the top scorer's prize on more than one occasion, after Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
