Jamal Murray took to Twitter to show his excitement for LeBron James potentially missing 10 days due to health and safety protocols. 

The Los Angeles Lakers have found themselves in unchartered waters as they look to navigate their way through the Playoffs from the bottom of the standings, all the way to the top. After winning a nail-biter against the Warriors off the back of a LeBron James 34 footer with less than a minute left in the game, the 7th seeded Lakers will face off against the Phoenix Suns in the 1st round of the Playoffs. 

With the amount of time the core Lakers squad has spent together on the floor, having their leader, LeBron James, dictate the way a game goes is crucial. However, a couple days back, the Lakers received a slight scare when they were given word that James had violated the league’s health and safety protocols.

He had done this when he attended an event concerning a tequila company he has invested in along with Canadian rapper, Drake. There weren’t all too many people at the event, or at least it seemed as though this was the case and the NBA decided to give the ‘King’ a pass. 

Jamal Murray tweets out a show of shock and excitement upon hearing of a possible LeBron James sidelining. 

The Denver Nuggets received a massive blow to their championship aspirations this season as their star guard, Jamal Murray, tore his ACL a month and a half ago. Though Nikola Jokic has been able to keep the Nuggets afloat in the loaded West, they may not have the personnel to deal with the 3 guard lineup the Blazers have to offer. 

As Murray is on the road to recovery, he is undoubtedly ‘surfing the web’ a lot more to kill the time. This became apparent when he tweeted out, “No Bron for 10 days!? Sheeesh.”

However, before the tweet could gain any mainstream media traction, Jamal Murray deleted this tweet. It’s clear however, that No.27 on the Nuggets is quite excited about LeBron James potentially not taking to the floor. Either way, his assumption on James missing time from the Playoffs never rang true as the NBA decided against sidelining their most profitable superstar in the first round of the Playoffs.
