The Phoenix Suns picked up a big win against the LA Clippers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday; a win that put them up 2-0 in the series. Granted, the Clippers’ best player, Kawhi Leonard, was sidelined for both of those games, but this Suns team is good — like, really good.
That begs the question: did the Lakers lose to the soon-to-be NBA Champions? Christian and Jacob discuss all of the things that make the Suns special, including Cameron Payne’s insane run, on today’s podcast.
They also discuss the winners and losers of the NBA Draft Lottery. The Detroit Pistons may have won the No. 1 overall pick, but were they the biggest winner of the night? The Golden State Warriors, who will now officially have two lottery picks on draft night, may have something to say about that.
Finally, they talk about the teams with the most potential to shake things up on draft night, including the Charlotte Hornets and the aforementioned Warriors.
