The Boston Celtics have struggled mightily out of the gates to begin the 2021-22 NBA season. They are currently 2-5 and some animosity seems to be building up on the team following a devastating 128-114 loss to the Chicago Bulls in their last game.
Boston led by as many as 19 points but was outscored 39-11 in the fourth quarter to end up on the wrong side of another blowout loss. It led to Marcus Smart calling out Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown post-game, saying they need to pass the ball more.
This is certainly not how Ime Udoka envisioned the start of his head coaching career going. The
Boston Celtics are playing poorly and the losses are piling up. Two of those losses came against the Washington Wizards in a back-to-back set in which Washington won by three and nine points.But, it is what was revealed before the games that garnered the most attention.

Jayson Tatum revealed that he has discussed the possibility of recruiting Bradley Beal. The two St. Louis natives are very good friends and would one day hope to play on the same team together.
Players will rarely speak this openly about recruiting as it could very easily violate the league’s anti-tampering rules. But, the interest in Beal and Tatum teaming up is legitimate.
Tatum isn’t the first player that has pushed Beal to request a trade out of Washington. It is something he supposedly deals with on an almost nightly basis from players on opposing teams.

At this point, Bradley Beal has not indicated that he wants to leave the Wizards.
