Hayley Raso and Alanna Kennedy will head into the quarter-finals of the Asian Cup on the back of a 100% record in Group B.
Australia made it three wins from three, completing their group stage campaign with a 2-1 triumph over Thailand, thanks to goals from Emily van Egmond and Sam Kerr.
City duo Raso and Kennedy were rested for the clash, which the Matildas dominated, netting a goal in each half - van Egmond opening the scoring with a low drive before Kerr sealed the win, capitalising on a mistake from goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao.
Nipawan Panyosuk pulled a goal back in injury time - the first goal Australia conceded in the tournament - with a well-taken lob in injury-time.
Having comfortably finished top of the group with nine points, an impressive 24 goals scored and just the one conceded, the Matildas will face South Korea in the last eight on Sunday 30 January at 08:00 UK time.
Thailand, China PR, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, Japan and the Philippines also made it through to the quarter-finals.
