JUPITER, Fla. – Duke women's golf incoming freshman Andie Smith registered a sixth-place finish this week at the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Rolex Girls Junior Championship as she carded rounds of 75, 74, 71 and 72 for a 4-over, 292, at The Loxahatchee Club in Jupiter, Fla.

Smith, who is from Hobie Sound, Fla., was one of only three golfers to turn in back-to-back even or under par rounds over the final 36 holes.  She finished six shots behind Kaitlyn Schroeder (286), who won medalist accolades.

In the third round, Smith registered two birdies on her way to shooting a 1-under-par, 71, before closing the action with four birdies and an even-par, 72.  She notched 11 birdies over 72 holes of play.
