Nittany Lion Fencing Teams Travel to Temple Open This Weekend - Penn State University Athletics - Penn State Athletics

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will travel to Philadelphia for the Temple Open this coming weekend. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30, with action beginning at 8:30 a.m. on both days.  Penn State will have 18 total fencers competing between both days.  

Representing Penn State in the women's epee will be Axelle Wasiak, Nirali Igoe, and Jordan Liverant.  Ariel Ratsep, Samantha Catantan, and Arianna Proietti and will compete in the women's foil with Mia Novick, Alexa Horan, and Ola Strzalkowski for women's sabre. 

The men's epee event will feature Jonathan Piskovatskov, Zachary Suico, and Tingwei Xu

Arwen Borowiak, Aidan Johnson, and Konner Paik will compete in men's foil with Carlos Fernando Chacon, Neil Lilov and Nicholaus Zielinski for men's sabre. 

Penn State will host the Garret Penn State Open next weekend. The event will take place in the White Building on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 5-6. Action will commence at 8 a.m. on both days.
