Dallas Mavericks star point guard Kyrie Irving missed their last game on Saturday versus Memphis due to right foot soreness. It now looks like Irving is in danger of missing the Mavs’ rematch versus the Grizzlies on Monday night. This comes as Irving is listed as questionable to play.
Irving once again joins co-star Luka Doncic on the injury report. Doncic has already been ruled out for Monday’s game due to a left thigh strain, which marks his second straight game on the sidelines.

Mavs Injury Report vs. Grizzlies:Kyrie Irving - questionable (right foot soreness) Luka Doncic - out (left thigh strain)
Injuries to Dallas’ stars have come at a bad time. The Mavs are 34-34 and eighth in the West. They are still fighting to secure a playoff spot in the crowded Western Conference. Despite being in a play-in position, Dallas is just one game ahead of the 11th-placed LA Lakers (33-35). This means that the Mavs are in real danger of missing the play-in entirely.
How have the Mavericks fared without Kyrie Irving this season?
In the Mavs’ last game without Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, the team fell to Memphis 112-108. Dallas is now 29-28 without Irving and 5-6 with him this season. Meanwhile, the team is 3-8 without Doncic and 31-26 with him.
Irving is averaging 27.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.3 3-pointers per game on 51.2% shooting through 11 games with Dallas.
Doncic is averaging 33.0 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 8.0 apg, 1.5 spg and 2.8 3pg on 50.0% shooting through 57 games.
Dallas will once again be facing a shorthanded Grizzlies team on Monday. The Grizzlies will be without star point guard Ja Morant (personal), starting center Steven Adams (knee), and reserve big man Brandon Clarke (achilles). Memphis are 40-26 and third in the West.
