Kaylia Nemour, Carlos Yulo collect golds on final day of Doha World Cup - Olympics

World championships medallists Kaylia Nemour of Algeria and the Philippines' Carlos Yulo scored gold medals Saturday (20 April) at the International Gymnastics Federation's Doha World Cup.

Nemour's gold medal came on the floor exercise, where she posted a 13.700. Team GB's Ruby Evans was second (13.300) while Spain's Laura Casabuena was third (13.233).

Yulo was the victor in the men's parallel bars final with a stunning exercise that earned 15.200. Chinese Taipei's Hung Yuan-Hsi's 14.966 was good for second, while Brazilian Caio Souza finished third with a 14.566.

On the balance beam, Ukraine's Anna Laschevska took the top spot with a 13.533, ahead of Nemour's 13.400. Italy's Chiara Barzasi earned a 12.900 to round out the top three.

In the men's competition, the day's first final - vault - was taken by Armenia's Artur Davtyan. He posted a 15.116 average score to hold of Yulo's 15.066. Yahor Sharamkou was third, earning a 14.749.

Doha's finale came with the horizontal bar final where Chinese Taipei's Tang Chia-Hung soared to the top of the standings with a 15.133 final score. Lithuania's Robert Tvorogal was the silver-medal winner at 14.700. Brazil's Arthur Nory grabbed the bronze medal with a 14.533 after repeating his exercise after his grip broke.
