Olympic hopeful Hoffman bags gold in Philippine Athletics Championships - The Manila Times

BLITZING her way to glory, Filipino American Lauren Hoffman was seconds shy of meeting the Olympic standard, but she remained dominant in the women's 400-meter (m) hurdles of the ICTSI-Philippine Athletics Championships at the PhilSports track oval in Pasig on Friday, May 10.

The Olympic hopeful clocked in 55.92 seconds, enough to clinch the gold medal, and was just 1.07 seconds away from reaching the Olympic standard of 54.85.
