Allen Durham returns to Meralco to settle some unfinished business - GMA News Online

Allen Durham will be flying back to the Philippines to reinforce Meralco and settle an unfinished business in the PBA.

The American import will have another tour of duty with the Bolts, who, after winning the previous Philippine Cup, are also eyeing to take the throne in the season-opening Governors' Cup next month.

Durham last appeared in a Bolts uniform in 2020 when he bolstered the Bolts in that year's Governors' Cup where they fell to rival Barangay Ginebra in the finals.

Before that, Durham had already led Meralco to two finals appearances, but both stints saw them crumble against the Gin Kings.

During the course of his PBA stint, the 26-year-old Durham also won the Best Import awards thrice

While he was away, Durham was busy strutting his stuff in Japan, where he suited up for the Ryukyu Golden Kings, which he steered to the 2023 title while also bagging the Finals MVP plum.

He will now return to the Philippines to help Meralco quench a title drought in an import-laden conference.

Meanwhile, NLEX, Magnolia, and Blackwater have also announced their reinforcements with the Road Warriors tapping former NBA player Myke Henry while the Hotshots and the Bossing got the services of Glenn Robinson III and Ricky Ledo, respectively.

Earlier, Rain or Shine bared that its import will be Aaron Fuller, who already had plenty of PBA experiences after having played for NLEX, TNT, and Blackwater in the past.
